Zerion: Infinite Space ("Zerion", "we", "us", or "our") is a free-to-play online space MMO available on the web and as mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you create an account and play, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or playing Zerion, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account information

• Your email address and pilot callsign (username).
• An encrypted password — we store only a one-way hash, never your plain-text password.

Gameplay data

• Your in-game progress: level, credits, ships, inventory, sectors, missions, and similar state needed to save your game.
• Chat messages and other content you choose to send in-game.

Purchase information

• If you buy Premium, payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe, or the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Steam depending on where you purchase). We receive confirmation of your subscription status; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Technical & usage data

• Device and connection information such as IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps.
• Analytics about how the website and game are used, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account and save your game progress.
• To operate, secure, and improve the game and website.
• To process Premium subscriptions and provide related benefits.
• To prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To understand usage trends through aggregated analytics.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language, and measure traffic. Our website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage; Google may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run Zerion:

• Service providers who process payments (e.g. Stripe), host our servers and website, and provide analytics — only to the extent needed to perform those services.
• App platforms (Apple, Google, Steam) when you purchase or manage a subscription through them.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, transaction records) to comply with legal obligations.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your account, contact us at support@playzerion.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children's privacy

Zerion is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords and secure connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International users

Zerion is operated from Mexico and played globally. Your information may be processed and stored in Mexico or other countries where we or our service providers operate, and where data-protection laws may differ from those in your own country. By using Zerion you consent to this transfer and processing.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of Zerion after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
